Sneakpeeq Holiday Glam Girl Mystery Box...

As you all might have noticed by now I'm a sucker for a subscription and/or theme box. So I couldn't help myself and I had to order myself a Sneakpeeq Mystery Box. I specifically ordered myself the Holiday Glam Girl box (Once I opened this box I ordered myself the Girl Who's Got It All box also).
If you're unfamiliar with Sneakpeeq it's a site that features various products at a discount (You can earn badges and get a greater discount most of the time). Sneakpeeq put together three different mystery boxes containing a mixture of five plus products that have been featured on the site at some point. The boxes you can choose from are as follows; Holiday Glam Girl, Nature Girl and Girl Who's Got It All* (The Nature Girl box is unfortunately sold out), they are $29.00 each and boast having at least $60.00 worth of products in each box, with the possibility of having up to $500 worth of bonuses.

On to my particular box...

Glam Mat • Lash Card • Chella Lash Full-Fillment Eyelash Treatment •
• Lord & Barry Kit-Co QuickChic Lip & Eye Pencils • UNO Magnetic Jewelry •

CHELLA LASH FULL-FILLMENT EYELASH TREATMENT ($90.00)
Chella has formulated the perfect prostaglandin-free Eyelash Treatment
to help restore the natural beauty of your lashes, while nourishing, conditioning,
and “batting” away dry, brittle and non-existent lashes.

This product was the highlight of the box for me. Honestly I've never heard of this particular brand but I've been curious about eyelash treatments for a while now (Not the I necessarily think I need one), so to get a full size of one was awesome especially since it's worth $90.00 and I paid $29.00 for the whole box it came in. I'll definitely be trying this product out and I will very much let you guys know if it does what it claims to.

LASH CARD ($6.99)
This was an eh product for me because I'm pretty sure I've gotten one to try in a Birchbox or Glam Bag at some point (I have to check my sample box). I mean the product seems like a good enough idea but I'll never remember to use it. This is totally going to be something I give to someone.

GLAM MAT ($19.95)
I use hot styling tools and I've burnt various surfaces with my flat iron in the past, so I will definitely use this product. The only thing I don't like about this product is that I got it in purple and not hot pink or black.

UNO MAGNETIC JEWELRY ($19.99)
This one was a little weird and it was purple. I only played with it briefly, but I'm gonna mess around with it a little more and see if I can rock a magnetic piece of "jewelry" or not.

LORD & BERRY KIT-CO QUICK CHIC MINI PENCIL BOX (€5.00)*
This mini pencil kit came with four eyeliners and four lipliners. I love me some eyeliner (I can live without lipliner) so I was happy to see this kit included because I love trying new ones. The colors were nice, I don't understand why it came with two shades of black instead of some other color but whatever.

Once I swatched them I wasn't so happy anymore. They didn't glide on and I really had to draw the lines on the back of my hand. I'm hoping if I put a lighter to these bad boys they'll work better. We shall see...

* Saw the same product for $21.50 on some site

TOTAL VALUE: $158.43

Over all, the box was worth the $29.00 gamble. The only thing I'm sad about is not getting a My Other Bag tote like some of the other people got because I would have loved rocking one, but whatever.

If you ordered a box or plan on snatching one up before they sell out lemme know!

NOTE: After I posted this I saw that the Girl Who's Got It All box sold out.

Causing Chaos In The ER...

I caught Ricardo messing with my mom's IV

* My mom was awake, she put Ricardo there and let me take the picture. I was gonna put him elsewhere.

Evening In The Emergency Room...

So I thought I had it bad the other day spending the afternoon at the urgent care clinic with Erin, well today I spent my evening in the emergency room because my mother passed out at work (Thankfully she works in a hospital, so she didn't have to go far).

Around 4:10pm my mother calls and asks to speak to my father, so I put him on and she apparently told him she passed out while she was at work, was in the emergency room and need him to pick her up because she couldn't drive herself home. We both hop in my car and drive over to the hospital to find my mom hooked up to a bunch of machines in the ER.

We start talking to her and find out that they want to do a cardiac catheterization on her because we have a family history of heart problems, but she refused to do it until we got there. So once we got there I found her nurse and they sent her up for the procedure. While she was being wheeled up we found out she passed out at 11:00am and was in the ER like all day (We were not happy when we found out).

As she was having all of this done my father and I were stuck waiting in a visitors lounge forever. After what seemed like forever and a year the doctor that did the catheterization came to tell us that it was all good, but she had to lay down for three hours for whatever reason (I remember him mumbling something about where they put the catheter in) and she needed an MRI.

To make a long story short, she was still in recovery all drugged up and hadn't her MRI so the nurses told us they were going to keep her over night because they weren't sure when she'd have it and she still needed to be in bed because of the other procedure. So my mom is still in the hospital.

Hopefully they get the MRI done tonight, it's fine and we can just pick her up in the morning. I'll obviously write about what happens when I know what is going on.

Trying To Get Stabby...

Ricardo really hates Nella

Walk In Clinics & Chilean Food...

Erin hurt her back a couple of months ago and over the weekend she tweaked it again, so she asked me if I could bring her to a walk in clinic yesterday. For some reason I agreed to do so thinking that we'd be in and out in like an hour and a half or so. Oh, was I wrong. I was stuck in that urgent care clinic with her for over three hours (I think we would have been in and out of an ER quicker).

I don't know why it actually took so long, but we think that they just flat out forgot about her. We came to this conclusion because when she walked up to the counter to ask how far along the list was the woman look towards the bottom and ran her finger all the way up it and said "Oh honey, you're going into a room right now."

You'd think once in the room the ball would get rolling but no, we were in the examination room forever (I went into the room with her because there was a crazy lady talking to us in the waiting room). We were in that room so long we were talking about/looking up info on Dr. Kevorkian because I was thinking about putting her out of her misery.

Eventually some doctor who could barely speak English came in and helped her. She got a shot of toradal, a couple of prescriptions and they sent us on our way (She didn't even get an x-ray).

When we were finally out of that place we headed back towards Erin's house because we got Maria to agree to go out to dinner with us for Chilean food and we told her to meet us there. Surprisingly she got there relatively quickly and we headed to the restaurant (It's our place, we like don't bring anyone there).

We ordered what we always order (An empanada for each of us and three fried fish dinners with rice) and just sat there talking, eating, etc. After we were finished there we ran into a store to pick a few things up and then I dropped them off and headed home.

It was an annoying day that ended well.

Thrifting With My Favorite Page...

Today I got to see "Favorite Page #1" for the first time in what has seemed like forever. The two of us spent the day roaming around thrift stores looking for an ugly Christmas sweater for my sister (She is having ugly Christmas sweater day at her job on Friday and didn't have time to look for something to wear), as well as whatever other awesome things that we stumbled across.

We also gave @exlibris' thrift store gore bingo (You can find my previous post about it here and her post here) a go.
We found some things that slightly differed from the exact items on the list that we thought should count. Like the D.I.Y. mug thingy that had a picture of someones grandparents still inside of it, as well as the bag of knives, etc.

Even though we had a great time with each other, I didn't get to spend as much time as I would have like to with her. I told her that we'd do something else before she heads back to college for her spring semester. I can't wait.
