It’s l968 in America. Change is blowing in the wind...but seemingly far removed from the unrest in the cities is the small town of Mill Valley where for generations, the shadow of the Bellows family has loomed large. It is in their mansion on the edge of town that Sarah, a young girl with horrible secrets, turned her tortured life into a series of scary stories, written in a book that has transcended time—stories that have a way of becoming all too real for a group of teenagers who discover Sarah’s terrifying tome.

I don't know about you, but the "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark" series by Alvin Schwartz was everything when I was in elementary school. So when I heard Guillermo del Toro was adapting them into a movie I lost my ever loving mind and this trailer just made whatever was left of it implode.
I am beyond excited to see this movie and August 9th cannot get here fast enough for me.
What about all of you? What do you think? Did you enjoy the book series as a child? If you did, which was the story that stuck with you the most? Mine is "The Red Spot" and Justin's is "Harold" -- Both from "Scary Stories 3: More Tales to Chill Your Bones" (1991).
