So we chose to start off our day by going to Spritzenhaus which is a beer hall that pops up on all of the list of things to do while in Greenpoint. As we were walking to there we came across this little spot called Beer Karma and stopped in to check out their selection and have a drink.
After we finished our drinks we continued our journey to Spritzenhaus. While we were walking my hat flew away and landed in a puddle, I almost stepped on a dead rat in my flip flops, we walked through the McCarren Park farmers market and we saw a falcon in the trees on the edge of the park.
Once at Spritzenhaus we borrowed a table that had a 4:00pm reservation note on it (Thanks Leah! Or Lee like Day called her) so that we could have a couple of drinks and some snacks.
Eventually the place just got too crowded so we decided to move on to Sunshine Laundromat another place that popped up on a bunch of lists of things to do in Greenpoint.
As we were on our way over to Sunshine Laundromat (Which by the way is a legit laundromat with a ton of pinball machines in it and bar) we stopped into a few thrift stores and this pretty sweet looking pasta place called Forma Pasta Factory just to see what they had.
After our handful of detours we ended up at Sunshine Laundromat which confused us at first, but then the lady running the laundromat told just to walk through this set of doors and there was the bar.
After we had our fill of pinball we headed over to The Moonlight Mile to have some whiskey based drinks (We joked around about trying their whiskey flights but at that point in the day we weren't really up for it).
We only had a round of drinks at The Moonlight Mile before we decided that we needed to go get real food. So we all went on Yelp and found a sushi place that we all agreed upon and walked over to get dinner.
After dinner we hopped in a Uber and went back to Day and Ryan's place to chill for a bit before Justin and I drove back home.
It was a fun day exploring a new neighborhood in Brooklyn. I'd definitely go and hang out in Greenpoint again.
