KUSAMA: Cosmic Nature

In the beginning of the month I went to the KUSAMA: Cosmic Nature exhibit at the New York Botanical Garden with Eileen, and here are some of the pictures I took while we were there...

We happened to go on the perfect day, it was a little overcast for the most part and not too hot. So we really got to enjoy the gardens and all of the sculptures that were on display. I highly recommend checking it out if you're a fan of Kusama's work or if you just enjoy strolling through gardens. It's an absolutely beautiful way to spend a day.

New York Mycological Society Walk In Woodlawn Cemetery

As you may or may not know, I am fascinated by cemeteries and mushrooms. So when I found out that the New York Mycological Society was having a mushroom walk in Woodlawn Cemetery earlier in the month I had to attend, and I obviously had to drag Justin and Phil along. Here are some of the random pictures I took throughout the course of our walk...

Since it was our first time ever foraging we didn't find much, thus a lack of mushroom pictures. But we had a great time and we're definitely going to become members of the New York Mycological Society and go on more walks in the future.
