One of my biggest pet peeves as a Youth Services Department librarian is the fact that the majority of parents/grandparents/nannies don't clean up after or make the children clean up after they are finished playing with the toys we have in our picture book room.
Today it looked like a bomb went off in the f'ing room, so I asked "Favorite Page #1" to clean up the room and told her I would help her -- which I did. Unfortunately as we were cleaning she slipped on a toy car and wacked her head. Because of the inconsiderate parents/grandparents/nannies she got hurt which pisses me off. I'm totally punishing them by taking the toys away next week -- If you can't clean up your mess no one gets to play with the toys!
