I've been stuck at work all day with a crazy headache and my Department Head won't let me leave. I've been begging her for hours to let me go home, instead she told me to just sit at my desk and do random things. Is she really that desperate to have an extra body in the department? All I want is to go home and take a nap.
Update: About 10 minutes after I posted this I finally got my Department Head to let me leave and go home. It was only 40 minutes early but I was happy to get out of there and go lay down in my bed.
