Let's Have A Party...

I don't know if I've ever talked about this before, but I have a friend from college named Matt that lives in the UK and twice a year he comes to the US to hangout with all us Americans. Well, this weekend was part of his first visit of 2012. And as per tradition, everyone got together and we spent the entire day drinking.

We started off our booze-fest at Studio Square in Queens (Which Justin and I walked to from the Woodside train station). We spent hours there drinking beer and sangria by the pitchers and watching the Rangers game, as well as the soccer game. It was crazy throughout the place, especially in the beer garden where we were hanging out. Everyone and their mothers were there watching the games and drinking.

Throughout the course of  our stay at Studio Square my friends found the need to randomly sing "Red Solo Cup" by Toby Keith, which I had honestly never really listened to, I think the only time I heard it before was Glee.

After the games were over we stumbled out of the bar and headed into New York City to catch up with more of our friends from college. As we were attempting to do this we hit a few bumps, almost lost a few people, but eventually ended up at Ta Cocina. The place seemed nice enough, but it was hot as hell in there and there wasn't enough room for our whole party (At that point there were eighteen of us). So a bunch of us ended up walking a few blocks over to 123 Burger Shot Beer.

Once we hit up 123 Burger Shot Beer our anthem became "Shots" by LMFAO because we started knocking back shots -- I'm not gonna lie, I love a good round of shots.


After we finished up at 123 Burger Shot Beer we headed to The 13th Step where our other friends ended up (At this point it was after 10:00pm). Justin and I hung out for a bit before deciding it was time to head back to Long Island.

It was such a great day. I love all day long booze-fest with my college friends. We always have the best time being and doing random drunken things around New York City. I can't wait for the next time we all get together again.
