Overdue: Berry Picking & Shopping Out East...

Over Labor Day weekend I headed out to eastern Long Island with my sister, Erin and our friend Dee Dee for a day of berry picking and frolicking outside on farms.

After berry picking and a little shopping at the Garden of Eve Farm we moved on to the next, where we ended up finding Popeye riding a pink tractor, amazing ice cream and a sunflower field at Patty's Berries & Bunches.

This was Patty's Maple Sage ice cream, it was some of the best ice cream that I've ever had.

After playing in the sunflowers we headed across the street to check out what the neighboring farm had to offer.

It was cute but we really wanted food, so we left to go on an adventure to find something to eat.

So yeah, that was our little Labor Day weekend trip to eastern Long Island.
