Still Getting Ready For Thailand

Recently Justin and I decided to switch up the itinerary for our upcoming trip to Thailand by adding stops in Bangkok and Khao Sok National Park. So now we're trying to figure out what we want to do while in those places, thus causing us to go and do more research. And since you all know I love collecting links to articles and blog posts about wherever I'm going, I had to put all my new information together (In addition to the ones I found back in February, which you can find here) to share with you all because someone might find it useful.

Here's what I've put together during this round of searching...

In addition to reading various blog posts about Bangkok and Khao Sok National Park, I've also been watching videos about staying at Our Jungle House in Khao Sok because Justin wants to stay in a tree house and I'm very apprehensive because I don't like bugs (Like I don't even like butterflies). So I'm trying to see if I can muster up the courage to stay in a tree house with bugs, snakes and monkeys.

As I've done for the majority of my other travels, I've collected links to articles and blog posts about traveling in Thailand. And even though we aren't going until the end of the year I thought I'd share my current findings because someone else might find them useful. So here's what I've put together as of thus far...

It still pains us but we're going to rewatch the episodes Anthony Bourdain has about Thailand.

Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations (2005 – 2012)
  • Season Five, Episode Sixteen: Thailand
Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown (2013 – 2018)
  • Season Three, Episode Eight: Thailand
In addition to rewatching our beloved Bourdain, we will probably also rewatched some other random travel shows about Thailand.

Somebody Feed Phil (2018 – Present)
  • Season One, Episode One: Bangkok
Rev Runs Around the World (2015)
  • Season One, Episode Six - Chiang Mai: Elephant for X-Mas
And the other evening I stumbled upon "Thailand: A Feast For The Senses" (2014) on AWE and watched that to get an idea or two about what I do and do not want to do while in Thailand.
