1/2 Cup of Sweet White Wine ← I used Moscato because I love it
1 Large Egg
2/3 Cup All-Purpose Flour
Dash of Salt
1/8 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
2 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar
1 Cup Honey
1/8 Teaspoon Grated Nutmeg
- Beat the wine and egg in a bowl
- Combine the flour, cinnamon, salt and sugar in another bowl
- Mix all of the ingredients together
- Let stand for 30 minutes
- Combine honey and nutmeg in a small bowl (Set aside)
- Heat oil in a skillet
- Drop batter into the oil and cook until golden brown
- Serve cakes with honey mixture
