LASIK Pre-Op...

Last month I had mentioned to all of you that I had gone for a LASIK (Laser-Assisted in situ Keratomileusis) consultation and that I had decided to go through with it and booked myself surgery for January 3rd -- If you missed that post you can check it out here.

Well, this past Monday I went to the TLC Laser Eye Center where I'm having my surgery and had all of my pre-op testing done. They measured my pupil and corneal thickness, created a corneal topography map of both of my eyes, as well as another test that I don't remember. The whole thing took about forty minutes and that was with all the instructions I was given for the day of my surgery.

So I'm happy to say that everything is ready to go for next week and I'm so excited. I can't wait to have my surgery and tell you all about it -- Hopefully the doctor will let my sister take pictures before and after my surgery so I can share them with all of you!

  1. I have wanted to do LASIK for awhile, but recently it's really been something I want done. We are planning to go for a cruise next month. I can hardly wait to wear all the cute sunglasses, and watch tv in bed without my glasses on. Oh and see what time it is in the morning without them. All the basic things we all want! My consult today was great with Dr. Rachel from evergreen eye clinic in Washington! I decided to proceed for the surgery and even got my eyes dilated today so I don't have to go back again until my surgery date.
