So, I didn't tell you guys but I was in Florida for few days this past week. My father is on the verge of retiring and he decided that he wanted to look for a house in southern Florida. So all four of us headed down to the sunshine state to look at some neighborhoods in the Miami-Dade County area and the Keys.
Since they aren't officially house hunting yet we weren't looking at actual properties, just kinda casually driving around and seeing what my parents liked and didn't like about areas. So this left us some time to do other things like hang out with relatives from both sides of the family and eat lots of yummy food.
So yeah, nothing terribly exciting happened. We just kinda hung out in various locations (Aventura, Taverneir Key, Key West, etc.) and soaked up some sun while Long Island was being hit by snowstorm Janus -- My sister and I are mean and kept sending Snapchats to our friends about the beautiful weather.
Now that I'm back I'm missing the warm weather. But that's life...
That looks amazing. You have great photos. What kind of camera do you have?
ReplyDeleteI have only been to Florida to spend the night in a Miami airport hotel when I missed my connecting flight. Other than that, I've never been to the Sunshine State. I will go, though.
Aw thank you! I have a bunch of cameras but these I shot with a Canon T2i with the kit lens and/or the EF-S 55-250mm image stabilizer telephoto zoom lens.
DeleteYou should go! I love Miami and southern Florida.
Wow, this looks so amazing. I love the little shops/stops, the animals, and all that sunshine shown above. Glad to hear you had a nice mini-vacation :)
ReplyDeleteAwww thank you!
DeleteI'm glad you like them! I almost stopped myself from putting some of those up.
