Baywatch...

Paramount Pictures' theatrical take on the television series Baywatch (1989-1999) is about to come out on Blu-ray, DVD, etc. So I thought that I'd share the official press Blu-ray release, as well as the Red Band trailer with all of you because why not?!

The exciting extended version comes to the beach on August 29, 2017 

in 4K Ultra HD ™ and Blu-ray ™ Combo Packs     

The HD digital format will be available two weeks earlier, on August 15

The "sexy and salacious" (Neil Pond, Parade) and "ridiculously funny" (Rachel Smith, FOX-TV) comedy BAYWATCH makes waves with a new extended version with comic material that was not seen in theaters and format Ultra 4K HD Combo Pack and Blu-ray Combo Pack on August 29, 2017 by Paramount Home Media Distribution. Fans can also dive two weeks before in Digital HD on August 15.  

When a dangerous crime wave hits the beach, the legendary Lt. Mitch Buchannon (Dwayne Johnson, The Fate of the Furious) leads his elite squad of brave lifeguards on a mission to prove you do not need to use a police badge to save the bay. Together with a trio of new recruits which include Olympic exatleta Matt Brody (Zac Efron, Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising), will stop surfing on one side and act as undercover personnel to defeat a vicious entrepreneur (Priyanka Chopra, series TV "Quantico"), whose devious plans threaten the future of the bay.  

4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray Combo Packs Baywatch include both the extended version of the film as it was released theatrically and full of additional material, including interviews with the spectacular cast, a look at the legacy of Baywatch images the scenes behind the phenomenal stunts, as well as deleted and extended scenes. The film also has a Dolby sound * Atmos® band re-mixed specifically for home theater environment in your home and move the audio anywhere in the room, even above.  

Blu-ray Combo Pack
The Blu-ray Baywatch is presented in 1080p high definition with Dolby Atmos English (compatible with Dolby TrueHD), 5.1 Dolby Digital French 5.1 Dolby Digital Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital in Portuguese and audio description in English and English subtitles, English SDH, French, Spanish and Portuguese. The DVD in the combo pack is presented in widescreen enhanced for 16: 9 TV with Dolby Digital 5.1 English 5.1 Dolby Digital French 5.1 Dolby Digital in Spanish and description of English audio and subtitles in English, French , Spanish and Portuguese. The combo pack includes access to a copy Digital HD version of the film released in theaters as well as the following content:
