R.I.P. Red Fish...

After being with us for only a short year the Youth Services Department's not so beloved fish, Red Fish, has passed away. He was a bully (It was his fault Blue Fish passed away last spring) and an antisocial little fish but he was our fish. Rest in peace Red Fish.

Missy The Misfit Library Mouse...

So, I got bored last night and created myself a little mascot. Her name is Missy the Misfit Library Mouse. I made her out of felt, fabric, ribbon, cardstock, batting, clear thread, fabric paint, buttons and wire. Isn't she cute?!

Here is Missy with Utley. He obviously did not like her and kept puffing up whenever she was near.

I have lots of crap on my desk, yet it is way cleaner than my coworkers' desks. It's my organized chaos.

My desk and my baby Louie -- Yes, he is real...

Yes... I have a pet fish at work. His name is Utley -- Justin named him after baseball player Chase Utley, because he wants my fish to died and curse the Phillies. Justin is a hardcore Mets fan.

FYI: Utley is blue.

That is indeed a Christmas tree on my desk... It is actually a pink Christmas tree, it has been sitting on my desk since early December and I refuse to get rid of it.
