Is It Halloween Yet?!?!!...

We're only six days into September and I'm already obsessing over what I'm going to be for Halloween. Is that weird? Is anyone else really excited for Halloween next month? I flipping love Halloween.

Well, I've been racking my brain trying to figure out what the hell I should be and I cannot decide. Probably because I haven't thought of the perfect costume yet.

In Halloweens past I've been Marie Antoinette, Snow White, a gypsy, a zombie, a beer wench, etc. And I didn't have a problem picking out any of those costumes. I'm normally the type of person who picks their costume on November 1st. But no, not this time (Last November 1st I was concerned about all the little bumps all over my face from the liquid latex I used for my zombie costume. Those little bumps didn't go away for weeks! Thus killing any thoughts of Halloween 2012).
It's frustrating not knowing exactly what I want to be because on top of trying to figure out Halloween, I have to pick out a costume for New York Comic Con. I obviously cannot wear the same costume twice!

Here is my running list of current costume ideas...
  • The Wicked Witch of the West
  • Mrs. White from Clue
  • Pan Am Stewardess
  • Lichtenstein Painting
  • Bettie Page
  • Mexican SeƱorita with a Sugar Skull Face
  • 80's Teen
  • Madeline
  • Porcelain Doll
  • Fairy
  • Cantina Gal
  • Mary Poppins
  • Sanderson Sister (If I can get two others to do it with me)
If anyone has any thoughts, ideas and/or input I'd love to know!

    1. I could totally do the Lichtenstein makeup patience wise. I spent two hours doing my zombie makeup last Halloween.

What are you thinking about being?

  2. We need to not think alike... I was going to be Madeline or Marry Poppins. Haha. Also, I vote (1) Pan Am *because you have a killer bag to kick off the costume* (2) Sanderson Sister *rope someone into it because that's my favorite idea* (3) Fairy *because you are my library fairy*

    1. LOL. Great minds think alike... :-P

I'm thinking of going with the Pam Am stewardess. I actually have Erin bidding on vintage Pan Am pins for me on eBay.
