24 Hours In NYC: A Bachelorette Party & Anniversary Lunch...

My friends Alana and Allie are getting married next month so this past Friday night a bunch of us headed into New York City for Alana's bachelorette party. Alana's sister Lauren had gotten us two joining hotel rooms at the Radisson on West 32nd Street, while Day had made reservations for dinner and a drag show at Lips and we ended the evening by seeing a 90's cover band called The Bayside Tigers at le Poisson Rouge.
It was just this awesome, albeit expensive, evening out with my friends to celebrate Alana. We just had a great time having dinner and drinks, watching the drag show and then dancing and singing 90's musics until we were all exhausted and needed to crash at the hotel.

The next day we woke up (We got like four hours of sleep), got dressed, cleaned the rooms and headed over to 230 Fifth for brunch (Which I skipped) and drinks (Which I didn't skip) with a sick view of the New York City skyline.
Once we were done with that the ladies needed to head back to Long Island for various reasons but I had Justin meet me at Penn Station because it was our twelve year dating anniversary and he had promised me pizza from La Lanterna Di Vittorio, which is the restaurant we had our wedding reception at.
We had an awesome little lunch followed by a walk around Washington Square Park and some window shopping around that area before I told him that I was super tired and wanted to go home -- Which he was thankfully cool with seeing as he took at forty-five minute train ride into New York City to do things for all of like two and a half hours with me.

It was just this awesome twenty-four hours. I wish we did stuff like this more often.

  1. That looks like such a fun adventure! I want to go back to NYC. I was supposed to this May, but I just don't think I'll be able to afford it. Sad face.
