Not So Clever Girl | Minor Fender Bender & Jurassic World...

Yesterday Justin and I decided that we were going to go see Jurassic World (2015) after we both got off from work. So I rushed home after getting off at 5:00pm to pick Justin up so we could catch a 7:00pm IMAX 3D screening of the movie. Everything was going well. I got home a little before 6:00pm, Justin jumped into my car and we started driving to the theater.

Before we got to the theater Justin asked me to swing into 7-Eleven so he could get some snacks to sneak into the theater. Even though I was totally into the idea of a big tub of popcorn and a giant overpriced drink, I stopped for him. He ran in, got his contraband and we were ready to go.

I checked my mirrors and behind me, everything was clear so I backed up and BAM. The lady in the parking spot directly across from mine pulled out at the same exact time as I did and we hit each other. My car just had some surface scratches but unfortunately the side of the back passenger bumper was dented in on her car and it was apparently a loaner car from a dealership, so she wanted to report the accident.

Thankfully the lady was nice even though the accident caused her to go over her fifteen minute break at work. And we both were apologetic about the fact that we both couldn't believe that we didn't see each other.

Fast forward twenty-thirty minutes and a police officer shows up. We all tell him what happened. He gives us the information we need to get the police report and we all get to go on our merry way.

At this point we have ten minutes before the movie starts but thankfully it all literately happened across the street from where the movie was playing. So we drove over, ran in, got our tickets and searched for seats. We couldn't find seats next to each other but we found two so that he'd be right behind me.

In terms of the movie, I absolutely loved it and Justin really enjoyed it. I don't want to spoil it for anyone but it had the perfect amount of references to Jurassic Park (1993) and was just a lot of fun. I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone thinking about seeing it. And if you can see it in IMAX 3D, do it. Justin and I aren't typically into 3D movies but we really enjoyed it and it didn't make Justin nauseous.

If you go see it or have seen it already, lemme know. I'd love to know what you thought of it.
