Governor's Island! It's a free ferry ride and a fun place to spend the day just off of downtown Manhattan.
ReplyDeleteI've been to Governor's Island once before a few years ago for a big beer festival. It was crazy crowded and was a pain to get off the island, so I think if I bring it up to my boyfriend he might go nuts.
DeleteI wish we wouldn't have had a bad experience there due to the beer festival because it was a beautiful place and I think it would be fun to hang out there for the day.
I used to love Tackapausha! If you want to see more dead stuffed animals (because when I put it like that, who wouldn't??) there's Sagamore Hill in Oyster Bay. Then again I'm a fan of ogling big expensive houses :P

DeleteOoh, I love big expensive house too. I've already dragged Justin to the Old Westbury Mansion and Vanderbilt Mansion in summers past, what is another summer day spent visiting another mansion...
