Nemo Found Us...

I'm sure many of you know that the Northeast was hit this weekend by snowstorm Nemo, and seeing as I'm on Long Island I got to play in the mess Nemo left us with. So here are some of the pictures I took this morning before I was forced to help clean....

I wish I could have taken more photos, but there was just so much snow all over the place and Justin needed my help cleaning off cars and such. And by the time we were done I was freezing and didn't want to be outside anymore. Hopefully I'll get to take some more pictures tomorrow.

Any of you guys deal with Nemo this weekend? I hope you got to have fun before cleaning like I did!

Week In Instagram: January 20th-26th...

Delayed Opening...

Thanks to the Snow Gods the library had a delayed opening today -- Instead of opening at 9:00am the Director decided to open at 1:00pm. I got into work at that time and proceeded to have a super boring work day.

My evening was much more interesting than my afternoon. I went out for 10¢ wings with Justin, Phil, Erin and a few others. We were at the bar for a few hours drinking, eating and talking about various topics. It was an awesome evening that very much so counteracted my boring ass work day.

Ten Hour Day...

I worked for ten hours today. In those ten hours I attended two meetings at a library over an hour away from my house (I woke up at 6:30am in order to be ready when my Department Head picked me up at 7:30am), I dealt with a mob of teens who behaved so badly a patron actually complained to the Director and he called the cops on them, I had to try and help several clueless children who didn't know anything about what they wanted, etc. Thankfully working for an extra three hours today means that I get to leave early on Friday. I can't wait for Friday, unless the Snow Gods answer my prayers and make it snow so much we're closed tomorrow. We shall see...

Snow Day...

As I said yesterday the library was closed today because of the blizzard that has raped the tri-state area -- Not that it mattered because I'm off almost all week. So today Erin, Phil and I took pictures in the snow, walked to a local diner for lunch, drank hot chocolate with booze and watched Clue (1985). It was a nice snow day, but it was a pain in the ass to walk around because it was so windy out.
