April 22nd, 2019 − Here are some of the wands that we've collected for Wands For Wildlife.

April 23rd, 2019 − Yvette and I stopped at Target and I thought this game looked interesting.

April 24th, 2019 − We had a beekeeper come in to do a program, so I bought some of his honey.

April 25th, 2019 − I think I'm funny and I took a picture of Eartha Chick in front of our toy farm.

April 26th, 2019 − People never clean up after their kids.

April 27th, 2019 −  As we were walking past McCarren Park we saw a falcon in the trees.

April 28th, 2019 − The tree in front of our apartment finally decided to bloom.

This Is Thirty-Four | Week Seven

April 15th, 2019 − Just another normal day where people don't clean up after their children.

April 16th, 2019 − Craft supplies.

April 17th, 2019 − Books to be cataloged on my desk.

April 18th, 2019 − Since I was stuck alone again being the Thursday night librarian, I decided to fill these plastic eggs with chick toys to give the kids during the chick meet and greet next week.

April 19th, 2019 − Before going to my parents' house for Good Friday dinner, I went to Toni's and colored Easter eggs with her and the kids for the third year in a row.

April 20th, 2019 − Stuck being the Saturday librarian, so I'm just cataloging new books.

April 21st, 2019 −  My sister and I made Mimi a bunny cake for Easter.

This Is Thirty-Four | Week Six

April 8th, 2019 − Another morning where I'm working all by myself.

April 9th, 2019 − I'm an adult that eats potato chips for lunch on stressful days.

April 10th, 2019 − The dirty ass keyboard for my iMac at work.

April 11th, 2019 − Paint on my fingers from a craft demo I made.

April 12th, 2019 − Was off from work, so I made a point of walking over to check out these flowers near my apartment.

April 13th, 2019 − Justin and I went out for Chinese food because I worked all day.

April 14th, 2019 − My mom picked me up two packs of the limited edition Game of Thrones Oreos for the premiere of season eight.

This Is Thirty-Four | Week Four

Here's week four of my "This Is Thirty-Four" series...

March 25th, 2019 − Spent a good chunk of time at work trying to draw a chick on our chalk board and it was not working out for me. 

March 26th, 2019 − One of our coworkers made Nicole and I paper flowers using the pages of an Andy Warhol book.

March 27th, 2019 − Nicole and I went into New York City to go to the Whitney Museum of American Art to see the exhibition "Andy Warhol — From A to B and Back Again" before it closed.

March 28th, 2019 − In preparation for Poetry Month, Nicole and I have been cutting out words from magazines for a poetry creation station.

March 29th, 2019 − Justin and I went on a date to see Us (2019).

March 30th, 2019 − Justin, Gino, Christina and I went to Queens for the day and while we were out there we we to the Museum of the Moving Image. These are some arcade games they had.

March 31st, 2019 − Book pages for Black Out Poetry.

This Is Thirty-Four | Week Three

Here's week three of my "This Is Thirty-Four" series...

March 18th, 2019 − Picked Justin up a case of those Recess seltzers.

March 19th, 2019 − Had a dentist appointment. Very exciting... I know.

March 20th, 2019 − It was one of our Pages last day at the library, so my department got her cupcakes.

 
March 21st, 2019 − I've been stuck at work all day, so here is random "artwork" that is being displayed in the hallway of my library right now.

March 22nd, 2019 − Had to teach my coworker where our table covers were and help her put them on the tables for a craft she was doing with the adult patrons.

March 23rd, 2019 − Justin, Kris, Erik, Mimi and I went up to Croton-on-Hudson to visit Lisa, Andrew and Luna, and while we were there we decided to go get ice cream at The Blue Pig.

March 24th, 2019 − Didn't do anything fun today because I had to work. #SundayLibrarian

This week was extra boring. Next week I have some fun things planed.

This Is Thirty-Four | Week Two

Here's week two of my "This Is Thirty-Four" series...

March 11th, 2019 − Justin and I went shopping because he needed new button downs for a business trip he was going on the next day.

March 12th, 2019 − Mine and my friend's favorite authentic Chinese restaurant closed, so I was attempting to recreate their spicy cold sesame noodles. I think they came out good.

March 13th, 2019 − Just a normal boring day at work.

March 14th, 2019 − I got to go to happy hour with Justin and his friends because I had a meeting in the morning and didn't have to work in the evening like I normally do on Thursdays.

March 15th, 2019 − Justin and I went to get Chinese food for dinner at the new authentic restaurant we found to replace our old restaurant. Yes, I had Chinese food twice this week...

March 16th, 2019 − Amelia came to visit me at work!

March 17th, 2019 − Picked up a couple of cans of Recess seltzer to see how it was. I personally wasn't a fan because I hate seltzer, but Justin enjoyed them a lot.

This Is Thirty-Four | Week One

As you may or may not know, last Monday was my thirty-fourth birthday. And in honor of my thirty-fourth year of life and the fact that I deem thirty-four to be my lucky number, I've decided that I'm going to take a photo every day for the next year. So every Monday for the next fifty-two weeks I will be posting my daily photos from the previous week. Here's week one...

March 4th, 2019 − All I wanted for dinner on my birthday was Cuban food, so I made myself some.

March 5th, 2019 − Random call numbers from the books I cataloged the week before.

March 6th, 2019 − A note from my Page who just resigned because she got a new job in the field she loves.

March 7th, 2019 − Picked up some goodies from the local health food store.

March 8th, 2019 − Day and I went to the mall to see if we could find new outfits for my birthday party the next day (We didn't) and we saw this mug at Charming Charlie.

March 9th, 2019 − Complementary drink from the bar at the AC Hotel because I yelled at the person at the front desk for my reservation being screwed up.

March 10th, 2019 − Margarita pizza from my birthday brunch at Sotto 13.
