Photo-An-Hour: Friday, August 1st...

It's been a while since I've done a photo an hour day, so here is last Friday in photos...

7:00AM - Got my juice, keys and purse, time to go to work (Or my parents' house to steal coffee)

8:00AM - In the elevator with my stolen coffee.

9:00AM - Trying to pick out children's books from a donation cart to put in the Little Free Libraries.

BONUS PICTURE + A SONG - A book featuring 90's Canadian brother band The Moffatt's!

10:00AM - On the boardwalk filling up the Little Free Libraries with more books.

11:00AM - Pretending to work because I only had an hour left for the day. Yay half days!

12:00PM - Drove over to my parents' house after leaving work early.

1:00PM - Started messing around with my brooch bouquet.

2:00PM - Got all my documents together so Justin and I could go get our marriage license.

3:00PM - Headed into Queens to get Mexican food and go to a Mets game with Justin and my dad.

4:00PM - Had a Mexican feast at Tortilleria Nixtamal with Justin and my dad.

5:00PM - Got to Citi Field early and waited in line because it was T-Shirt Friday.

6:00PM - Watched batting practice and waited for the game to start from the Caesar's Club.

7:00PM - Watched baseball. Talked to my dad. Watched Justin score the game.

8:00PM - Watched more baseball (Or watched the Mets losing).

I didn't keep going because 9:00PM was more baseball and driving home from the game. But yeah, this was my day.

One Month From Today Is My Wedding...

As stated in the title, my wedding is exactly one month from today and I'm feeling a ton of different emotions. I'm excited because I finally get to marry the person I love, frustrated because I don't have certain things done (ex - I still don't have shoes) and annoyed because I have people trying to tell me what I can and cannot do at my own wedding (I have a big potty mouth and I refuse to pretend like I don't, especially at my wedding and other people think I should pretend to be someone I'm not).

So yeah, I'm a bundle of various emotions and I can't wait for this to be over with. I just want the day to come, go and for Justin and I to be married and move on from all this silly wedding stuff -- Which probably sounds horrible to most of you, but I'm not your typical bride who thinks my wedding is the be-all and end-all.

Lets hope I survive this month.

Sunday Social...

1. Gum or Mints?
Mints because I have TMJ and am not supposed to chew gum.

2. Tea or Coffee?
Both. But I tend to drink coffee in the morning/early afternoon and tea is an evening thing, unless I'm sick and then I'm pounding back tea at all hours of the day.

3. Fruits or Veggies?
Both. I like both and eat both.

4. TV or Movies?
I guess TV because it's easier for me to catch a show here and there than to sit and watch a movie.

5. Candles or Diffusers?
Candles. I love candles. I have a whole closet full of them that I should really get to burning. But as to why, I don't know... I just like candles.

Picking Out Artwork...

For some reason the other night Justin told me that he wanted to look into ordering some art work for our apartment because we really don't have anything up on our walls (All we really have up is one of the "Everlong" vinyl we gave each other for our ten year anniversary and that giant Fathead® wall sticker I posted about here last summer). And as to what sparked this I'm not exactly sure, but I'm totally okay with it because over the weekend while I was at Lisa's apartment I was admiring all of the prints she and her fiancé have up. Especially this one print by artist Charmaine Olivia entitled "New Mexico" which I absolutely loved. And I had started looking into ordering some prints for our apartment but I hadn't said anything to Justin. So him bring art up was very serendipitous.

Since this came up we both started looking at prints of various things that interest us (ex: movies, music, so on and so forth) and we went from thinking about to owning a Lora Zombie print called "Slimer" that is a limited edition print to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Ghostbusters (1984) -- Because as you may or may not know... Justin "Fucking loves Ghostbusters!"

So now we have to find other prints to go along with "Slimer" as well as the "Everlong" vinyl art work. And I'm seriously in love with "Dark Desert Highway" by Dave Sanchez. I adore the subject matter and I think the colors in it would work well with the other pieces.

So yeah, I'm kind of loving this current art phase Justin is in and I hope it lasts long enough for us to get some cool pieces to decorate the apartment with. And you can bet once we get some pieces up I'll be posting pictures.

Stuck In My Head: The Glory Of Love

Yup, I have the 1986 Peter Cetera classic "Glory of Love" stuck in my head. And it's kinda mashed with the cover New Found Glory did of it back in 2000 plus images from The Karate Kid Part II (1986).
